Introducing New BTO Lifecycle Offerings from Mercury

In addition to new versions of our four Mercury Optimization Centers, Mercury now offers two new BTO lifecycle solutions, Mercury Application Change Lifecycle and Mercury Application Performance Lifecycle, as part of our integrated Mercury BTO Enterprise™ suite. These BTO lifecycle solutions enable critical assets to be shared across our Mercury Optimization Centers.

How it Works
Mercury’s integrated BTO lifecycle offerings manage application and business risk in three ways. First, by providing key performance indicators (KPIs) and visibility into the business impact of application performance and change on IT-delivered business services. Second, by keeping your business informed about the status of changes, while controlling and governing how changes take place. And third, by providing complete traceability and auditability for all changes, allowing both IT and the business to comply with relevant regulatory requirements.

Mercury Application Change Lifecycle
Mercury Application Change Lifecycle is an integrated solution for managing application changes and mitigating business risks throughout the change lifecycle. It allows you to proactively respond to change as critical applications evolve and the need to support the business increases. The Mercury Application Change Lifecycle automates the IT Service Management process, reducing operational costs and minimizing the risk of application downtime.

Mercury’s integrated approach enables you to manage application and business risk by:

  • Providing ongoing and continuous KPIs and visibility into each change and its impact on applications and business services.
  • Keeping the business appraised of the status of changes, while controlling and governing how changes take place.

Mercury Application Performance Lifecycle
Mercury Application Performance Lifecycle is an integrated solution for managing application performance and mitigating business risk from pre- to post-production. It provides ongoing and continuous status of change requests, measures the impact of new changes, automates the deployment of changes, and provides a real-time view of changes to production systems. And it provides a complete audit trail for tracing all changes throughout this process.

This tightly integrated solution for load testing, synthetic and real user monitoring, and lifecycle diagnostics allows you to manage application and business risk by:

  • Increasing operational effectiveness through critical integration between Mercury’s testing products and business process monitors.
  • Offering complete visibility into performance requirements based on real user behavior.
  • Incorporating unified diagnostics to assist developers in isolating and resolving performance bottlenecks throughout the application and infrastructure stack.
