New Release: SiteScope 8.0.0.0
Mercury is pleased to announce the availability of Mercury SiteScope 8.0.0.0, released on August 1, 2005. SiteScope 8.0.0.0 is the latest version of Mercury's agentless infrastructure availability and performance monitoring solution and one of the most extensive releases to date. The new version contains new features that continue to lower the product's already low total cost of ownership. New functionality highlights:
- New user interface
- Enhanced filters and views
- Global search and replace administration function
- Logical monitoring categories
- Metric level status
- New data collection status
- New monitors

Upgrading and License Requirements
SiteScope 8.0.0.0 requires a new license key. You can obtain an 8.0 license key by visiting the Mercury Support website; www.mercurycom/support and filling out a license key request. You will then be e-mailed your new key in 24-48 hours.
Important: Please refer to Knowledge base article 41341 and read it thoroughly before you start the upgrade process.
