What‘s New in Mercury Quality Center 8.2 and Mercury Performance Center 8.1?

Mercury Quality Center 8.2
Mercury Quality Center provides a web-based system for automated software quality testing across a wide range of IT and application environments. At all points in the process, you have visibility into where your quality project stands — whether requirements have been tested and satisfied, tests have been executed, or defects have been found and resolved. New Quality Center Dashboard
Our new Quality Center Dashboard provides real-time visibility into application readiness. Key new features in this Quality Center Dashboard include:

  • Includes 24 out-of-the-box Quality key performance indicators (KPIs ) as well as the ability to create custom KPIs
  • You can import data from any corporate portal standards
  • Provides inegration and interoperability with Mercury IT Governance Center Dashboard
  • Includes historical and cross-project reporting as well as full Unicode support for Asian languages (for JAPAC)

Business Process Testing Integration with Mercury WinRunner
Mercury Business Process Testing is now integrated with Mercury WinRunner, accelerating your time-to-test capabilities and expanding your ecosystem of testing resources. Other new integration features include:

  • Test scripts can now be used as drag-and-drop components within Business Process Testing and for keyword testing within WinRunner
  • The new SpyDynamics accelerator (partial US roll-out only) enables you to quickly test for security defects
